FAQ

Should you have any inquiries or issues, our customer support is accessible Monday to Friday from 9am to 6pm.

1. Where do you deliver?

We provide shipping services across Malaysia (excluding Sabah, Sarawak, Labuan, Kelantan, Terengganu, Pahang, and Perlis) with applicable shipping charges displayed during the checkout process. To obtain a shipping estimate, add the desired product to your cart, and the estimate will be visible on the cart page.

For total orders exceeding 10kgs of dry ice and other Gasko items, please reach out to our customer service for special arrangements.

2. What is the estimated delivery time for my order?

For ready stock items, your order will be despatched within 24 working hours. However, if your order includes any pre-order items, it will be packed and shipped only when all items are ready.

Klang Valley & Penang: Same-day delivery (local delivery) is available for certain areas within Klang Valley & Penang. If your address is eligible, you will see the Local Delivery option while selecting the shipping method.

Peninsular of Malaysia: Typically, orders arrive within 1-2 working days after shipping. Currently, we are unable to facilitate courier deliveries to the states of Sabah, Sarawak, Labuan, Kelantan, Terengganu, Pahang, and Perlis until further notice.

3. What is your business hour?

Our regular business hour are:

Monday to Friday from 9 am to 6 pm.

We are closed on weekends and public holidays.

*NOTE: Please be advised that delivery arrangements are NOT available outside of regular business hours.

4. What is your refund policy?

Our refund policy does not cover personal preferences such as “I don’t like it.” To be eligible for a return, the product must be defective or not functioning properly as such manufacturing defect only. Additionally, please note that our refund policy does NOT cover any dry ice or solid carbon dioxide products under any circumstances.

It’s important to note that certain products may undergo minor changes or upgrades between different production batches, and we strive to provide accurate information regarding such updates.

5. Is self-pick up available?

Certainly! Opting for self-collection is available, and you can choose this option during the checkout process. Before heading to collect your items, please confirm that you have received the email notification indicating “Ready for Collection” and consult our operating hours as mentioned in Question No. 3 above.

IMPORTANT: Kindly avoid arranging Grab or Lalamove for collection. If you prefer immediate receipt of ready-stock products, please opt for Delivery and then choose “Local Delivery.” For self-collect orders, we are unable to oversee or take responsibility for the delivery process.

6. Is pre-ordering required?

Yes, you will need to pre-order at least one (1) day in advance.

7. Is all types of dry ice available for ordering and delivery within 90 minutes for local despatch?

Unfortunately, NO. Pellet dry ice cannot be stored overnight, so we produce it to order only. However, we maintain stocks of Slab and Block dry ice available for 24 hours a week at our warehouse self-pickup point.

8. Can I crush dry ice myself, or can you assist with crushing?

Certainly! You can purchase Slabs and crush them yourself. However, we are unable to crush it for you due to rapid sublimation. For example, if we prepare 1kg of crushed ice, by the time it arrives at your location, there may only be 800g left. Dry ice is more brittle than water ice, making it very easy to crush.

9. What are the minimum order quantities (MOQ) for Slabs, Blocks, and Pellets dry ice?

Yes, there are MOQ requirements for each type of dry ice.

Slabs: 1kg
Blocks: 11kg
12mm Pellets: 5kg
3mm Pellets: 10kg

If you are ordering slabs or blocks, we offer delivery within 90 minutes, or you can choose to collect the items yourself. Please ensure to pre-order with us at least one (1) day in advance to ensure that we have sufficient stock available for either delivery or self-collection.

10. In what type of packaging will the dry ice be contained?

All 1kg loose Slab dry ice types come individually wrapped in plastic bags as a standard precaution against frostbite. However, to further mitigate sublimation, we recommend adding our Thermal Aluminium Foam Bag or Styrofoam Box. The Thermal Aluminium Foam Bag can maintain the integrity of the dry ice for up to 2 hours, while the Styrofoam Box can preserve it for up to 2 days.

11. Is it safe to store dry ice in the freezer?

Storing dry ice in the freezer is NOT recommended because the temperature of dry ice is colder than in the freezer. Instead, it’s advisable to store dry ice inside a foam box or a cooler box. Attempting to store dry ice in the freezer may cause it to malfunction since the temperature of dry ice exceeds the freezer’s capacity.

12. What size of foam box or cooler box is required to store dry ice?

You’ll need the smallest foam box, which is sufficient for up to 3 hours. The size of the box matters because the larger the box, the faster the dry ice will sublimate. This is because more energy is required to keep a larger cool air volume. Smaller boxes have smaller air volumes but keep in mind that the larger the box the more dry ice you’ll need.
